Turkish exports grow by 6.1 percent during the first month of 2020
The head of the Turkish Exporters Council, Ismail Güla, announced that Turkey’s exports during January 2020 increased by 6.1 percent, compared to the same period last year, achieving a record in the country’s history.
He added in a speech during a meeting in the southern state of Hatay, that Turkey reaped 14 billion and 765 million dollars in January 2020 exports, an increase of 6.1 percent compared to January 2019 exports.
He explained that the total exports of last year amounted to 181.6 billion dollars.
He pointed out that the continuation of the Turkish economy, its positive growth in the third quarter of last year, contributed greatly to the growth of the country’s exports.
